Overview
Commissioned as an events venue for a working ranch, Oculus Pavilion was delivered with Teton Craft Construction as a courtyard structure organised around a single circular skylight. The project celebrates daylight, structural clarity, and a shaded gathering court open to the sky at its centre.
Project Details
A ring of slender columns carries the roof back from a central oculus, so daylight and rain both reach the courtyard tree at the pavilion's heart. Full-height glazed doors retract into concealed pockets, converting the hall from a sealed winter venue into an open summer belvedere in under a minute. Back-of-house functions are tucked beneath a low service wing, keeping the courtyard uncluttered on every side.
