Our Values
We care as much about how we work as what we build. These are the convictions we hire for, argue over, and hold each other to.
Cultivate Collaboration
Good buildings are argued into existence. We keep architects, engineers, and makers in the same conversation from day one, because the best answer rarely belongs to one person.
Design with Restraint
We earn every material and every line. Restraint is not the absence of ideas — it is knowing which ones a project can carry, and letting the rest go.
Respect the Site
Every project begins on foot. We read the wind, the light, and the ground before we draw, so a building belongs to its place rather than sits on it.
Sweat the Details
A threshold that sheds water, a joint that closes cleanly. We spend a disproportionate amount of time on the parts most people will never consciously notice.
Build for the Long Term
We specify for the decade, not the photograph. Materials are chosen to weather honestly and details drawn so they can be repaired rather than replaced.
Teach and Be Taught
Juniors run real work here, and principals still sit in crits to be told they are wrong. Everyone is expected to explain their thinking and to change it when the evidence does.

Mock-ups built by hand before a detail is approved.

Drawings resolved with the people who build them.
On site every week, where the real decisions get made.
Our Studios
Three studios, one practice — wherever you sit, you work on everything.
