Overview
For a long-dormant textile mill on the Woonasquatucket River, we worked with Harbor State Construction to deliver a full adaptive-reuse package anchored by a chef's demonstration kitchen. The project celebrates industrial memory, honest repair, and mixed commercial life, folding studios, retail, and a working test kitchen into the original brick shell.
Project Details
The anchor tenant's demonstration kitchen sets the tone for the whole redevelopment: matte graphite cabinetry, a honed stone backsplash, and warm oak millwork against sheer linen drapery. Every fixture was chosen to work as hard in a chef's hands as it does in a photograph. Ground-floor tenancies open directly to the riverwalk, returning a closed industrial block to the public edge of the city.
